When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!" (Surah Al-Baqara, 11)
Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah.s curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- (Surah Al-Baqara, 159)

He said: "O my people! see ye whether I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord, and He hath given me sustenance (pure and) good as from Himself? I wish not, in opposition to you, to do that which I forbid you to do.I only desire (your) betterment to the best of my power; and my success (in my task) can only come from Allah.In Him I trust, and unto Him I look. (Surah Hud, 88)
Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrong- doing, if its members were likely to mend. (Surah Hud, 117)
But verily thy Lord,- to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends,- thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah An-Nahl, 119)
And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;- (Surah An-Nur, 4)
