Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong. (Surah Al-Anam, 144)
To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin. (Surah Al-Araf, 40)
To the Thamud people (We sent) Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: "O my people! worship Allah.ye have no other god but Him.Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah.s earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. (Surah Al-Araf, 73)
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art an apostle (of Allah.!" (Surah Al-Araf, 77)
"And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a symbol to you: leave her to feed on Allah.s (free) earth, and inflict no harm on her, or a swift penalty will seize you!" (Surah Hud, 64)
They said: "We miss the great beaker of the king; for him who produces it, is (the reward of) a camel load; I will be bound by it." (Surah Yusuf, 72)
And We refrain from sending the signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil). (Surah Al-Isra, 59)
He said: "Here is a she-camel: she has a right of watering, and ye have a right of watering, (severally) on a day appointed. (Surah Ash-Shuara, 155)
For We will send the she-camel by way of trial for them. So watch them, (O Salih), and possess thyself in patience! (Surah Al-Qamar, 27)
"Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!- (Surah Al-Waqia, 51)
"Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. (Surah Al-Waqia, 52)

What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from them - for this ye made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry: but Allah gives power to His apostles over any He pleases: and Allah has power over all things. (Surah Al-Hashr, 6)
"Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, (Surah Al-Mursalat, 30)
"(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. (Surah Al-Mursalat, 31)
"Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, (Surah Al-Mursalat, 32)
"As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." (Surah Al-Mursalat, 33)
When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; (Surah At-Takwir, 4)
